About Me
Artist statement
The creator of URBNA Studio — a space where nature, art, and the built environment engage in a creative dialogue. With a background in architecture and urban design, I’m fascinated by places, spaces and the way we experience them. From vibrant streetscapes to quiet pockets of nature.
What started with a crayon in one hand and a paper in the other from a young age, has evolved into a lifelong exploration of visual storytelling, expressed through ways like painting, sketching and digital design.
URBNA Studio is where I bring it all together, my love for nature, art & design, sketching and people, exploring the wonder at the intersection of it all!
The Creative Process...
My work is rooted in the idea of place and how we experience it. Through my sketches I want to spark simple yet thought provoking design conversations like why street trees matter, where people naturally pause in public spaces, or how seating outside a café shapes our experience. By drawing attention to both the obvious and the overlooked, the club invites people to engage more deeply with art, design, and the urban environments we move through every day.
URBNA’s visual voice lives in muted greens, grounded neutrals, and expressive linework; embracing a tactile, almost journal-like approach to digital sketching. The sketchy, linework reflects how we experience places: not as polished snapshots, but layered memories. Sketchiness holds a place for raw and emotional incompleteness. This incompleteness is intentional. It speaks to the way we experience the world, not as perfect contained images but as fragments, impressions, emotional imprints, always in process.
These works are not just landscapes, they’re memoryscapes, mapping relationships between place and presence, both personal and collective.
Mission Statement
Through its sketches and reflections, URBNA aims to make people pause, to notice the shapes, corners, rhythms, and colours of the places they move through every day.
URBNA creates art that invites presence, curiosity, and intentionality, because our environments are speaking to us constantly.
Vision Statement
To become a creative force that redefines how natural and urban landscapes are experienced and to build a world where design feels less distant, more human, and more accessible to everyone.
